Smartpro Launches iPad Mode
Smartpro is very pleased to announce that our most requested feature in recent months is now available to all coaches and players on the Smartpro website - iPad Mode. It’s been 3 months in development and we know many of you will be as excited as we are about this enhancement. Suitable for - iPads, iPhones, Android and other tablets, other Smartphones etc. etc. In fact, we don’t think there is a device out there using a modern browser that won’t be happy in iPad Mode!
Even Mac and Safari 5.1+ users can use this updated version.

Smartpro in the USA
Several of our pros in the USA requested that we go to meet them. So we are! In January, Sarah and Ben will be attending the PGA Golf Show in Florida. Then in February, Sarah will be attending the Carolina's PGA show at Myrtle Beach.

Smartpro is returning to Harrogate in 2011
Following the success of our first visit in 2010, Smartpro Coaching will once again be taking a stand at the Harrogate Golf Show between the 25-27th of October. Smartpro Coaching have officially launched their most innovative coaching resource – Smartpro for Academies.
This new package will allow multi-site and multi-coach academies to manage all of their teaching through one central hub.
Smartpro for Academies offers a range of new features including corporate branding of colour and logo. England Golf were the first to benefit from this new enhancement.

England Golf teams up with Smartpro for the new AASE Programme
The Advanced Apprenticeship in sporting excellence for golf is an exclusive programme for ''young, talented golfers who have a realistic potential to achieve excellence in their sport and are seeking to perform at the highest level in the sport as their main career aim.'' AASE provides a balance between each golfer's development in the sport and academic study, which serves to increase the options available to AASE golfers on completion of their apprenticeship.
AASE Coaches are now using the new V2 online toolkit to enhance the delivery of this programme.

Smartpro partners with England Golf Partnership
Smartpro is proud to announce the delivery of a customised Coaching Toolkit for England Golf. The Toolkit will be used as a Coach and Player resource on the Club and Coach programme, which is now being rolled out to all English counties.
The Club and Coach programme targets the development of junior players, using a selection of hand-picked Academy Coaches from each county. The Toolkit has been specifically designed with a Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model in mind, using a holistic approach to a player's overall game. Smartpro Director and creator of the Coaching Toolkit, Sarah Claridge, said "I am delighted that the Coaching Toolkit has been recognised by The England Golf Partnership, and proud that they have chosen to work with Smartpro in this long-term relationship. The synergy that our two organisations have will lead to even more innovation in the future."

PGA Titleist Assistant of the Year
On the 30th of May Dutchman Tim Van Heusden PGA Titleist Assistant of the Year was presented with the Smartpro Coaching Toolkit by Smartpro Director Sarah Claridge at the graduation ceremony for achieving the highest Golf Coaching exams results over his three year foundation degree. Smartpro would like to wish Tim every success in the future as Head professional at The Wassenaarse Golfclub Rozenstein, Holland.

Smartpro at the PGA Teaching Conference 2008
Smartpro were at the PGA Teaching Conference 2008 held at the Ricoh arena Coventry in early May. Speakers at the Conference included the legendary US Coach Chuck Cook and Victorious Rugby world cup Coach Clive Woodward who is a great believer in the holistic approach to Coaching and the use of coaching tools that aid player performance.

Congratulations
To Richard King not only has he been 2nd Trainee of the Year for the last 2 years with the PGA, but after a morning with Smartpro Coaching helping him prepare for an interview he has landed the job at Hartpury College as the 1st year lecturer on their National Diploma Course, Sports Performance & Excellence in Golf. Well done Richard!
